It is not enough to shoot great material to make a great film. Shooting on set is one stage in its creation. With the final clapper on set, a very important, sometimes longer than the previous ones, post-production stage begins. It determines the character and form of the film. The editor gets his hands on a stone which, depending on how it is polished, may become a real diamond. The post-production stage is very often underestimated, when it is what gives the film its final shape.
Post-production is concerned with image, colour, sound or special effects.
We are the post-producer of a film advertising one of Warsaw's restaurants. Munja, because that is what it is about, is a very atmospheric and impressive place. While editing the film, we wanted to convey the character of the place itself and the atmosphere that exists there as much as possible. We wanted to capture the atmosphere, and even the taste and smell of the restaurant's dishes with the right expression of image and sound.
We wanted to charm you with the place as much as it charmed us. We used a lot of appetising shots. With modern transitions and a dynamic pace, we showed the work of the restaurant team. As there is a fiery atmosphere of barbecue and smoke inside, we translated it into the film through colours and type of light. By adding a voiceover, the viewer can learn a lot of additional interesting information.
The most important of these are highlighted during the story in the form of subtitles.
We always prepare thoroughly for the post-production of each project in order to faithfully convey to the viewer the most important features of the place, product, service or company through our editing. We adapt our editing techniques to the effect we want to achieve. This requires knowledge and good equipment, of course, but above all experience and creativity. And we are not short of these.
