In most film and animation productions, we opt for a voiceover. This makes the project more appealing, explains what is happening, clarifies it. However, you have to be very careful, choosing the right voiceover is crucial to the success or failure of the film. Recording a voiceover should be done with three, very important rules. The first is to choose the right voice. The type and timbre of the voice are very important, you have to choose: a female or male voice and what timbre it should have. After that, the equipment plays a very important role. The quality of the equipment, programmes or gadgets we work with is always reflected in the project. The third important element is...emotion! The voiceover has to speak with conviction, with emotions suited to the context. Recording a voiceover is not easy. It requires a proper studio and the experience of the voiceover artist. A lot depends on the voice and the technique, so every effort must be made.
