The final shape is given to the film during post-production. It is at this stage that we select the soundtrack, special effects, colours, transitions between shots. All these elements significantly influence the character of the film. One of the projects we recently worked on in post-production was a film for the Kenwood brand.
Kenwood is a company that offers modern solutions in the kitchen. We wanted to make the footage we received from the set into a film that was as modern and innovative as the Kenwood range.
The idea behind the film was to compare the manual work of a chef when preparing a dish to the work of a machine. In the film, we have shown the work of the food processor in a simple, clear way, in a way that allows the viewer to draw their own conclusions. At the same time, the shown doing of the same activity could fail if it were not for the experience of the editor. This kind of demonstration, if properly done, clear and simple to understand, is a great idea.
If, on the other hand, there is chaos and too much going on, it can distract and irritate the viewer. In this project we got the result exactly as we intended. The film is clear, unambiguous, comprehensible and you can draw an obvious conclusion from it. To make it more pleasant, we have laced it with a gentle soundtrack. The modern simplicity we opted for in post-production proved to be the best choice.
