Right next to advertising, the most popular form of promotion is the TV billboard. Although it also shows products and builds brand image, it differs significantly from advertising. Some might say that it is simply a shorter version of it. However, there are many differences between a billboard and a t.v. ad. Strictly defined rules are a production challenge for creatives. The script has to be well developed. Not only does it have to comply with the premise and the rules, but it also has to be visually interesting and creative. A t.v. billboard is broadcast just before or just after a film or programme. It indicates who the sponsor is and this in itself casts a positive light on the brand. Add to this an interesting graphic design, an interesting image can make a billboard a success! Thanks to the fact that billboards broadcast at strategic moments, you can reach thousands of people! However, you must always keep in mind that you need to stand out from the rest.
