The role of sound
Sound plays a major role in any audiovisual work, particularly in advertising. Due to the short duration of an advertising spot, every second must be used to the maximum and the media must be used wisely in order to appeal to the audience. Sound gives character, directs and arouses specific emotions, which is particularly important in advertising spots. Creating a short, condensed film, which in a matter of seconds is supposed to arouse interest, emotions, take root in the viewer's consciousness and convey certain information, is a real challenge for both image and sound creators.
